Description

These mini banana bread donuts are a delightful treat, perfect for busy mornings, packing real banana flavor and around 100 calories each.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth in a large bowl.
  3. Add oats, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness. For a chocolate version, add cocoa powder or dark chocolate chips.
