Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Cinnamon Roll Cake that gives you the warm comfort of cinnamon rolls in a cake form.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed and pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the batter.
  7. Gently swirl the sugar into the batter with a knife.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool a bit before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a simple glaze made with powdered sugar and milk. Can also be served with coffee or tea.
