Description

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
Zest of 1 orange
1/2 cup milk
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup dried cranberries (or fresh if you love a juicy pop!)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the egg and orange zest for a citrusy zing.
4. Mix in the milk until fully combined.
5. In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder together.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently.
7. Fold in the cranberries evenly.
8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing slightly apart.
9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until edges are just golden.
10. Cool slightly before serving and enjoy.
Notes
Try adding white chocolate chips or shredded coconut for extra flavor.
