Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
8 oz fettuccine
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear in butter until golden and cooked through. Let rest, then slice.
2. Cook fettuccine in salted water until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
3. In a skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Pour in cream, simmer gently.
4. Whisk in Parmesan gradually, stirring until smooth. Add pasta, tossing to coat, adding reserved water as needed.
5. Top with sliced chicken, parsley, and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture.
Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
