- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt; mix until combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or dried fruit. Use almond butter or sun butter as alternatives for peanut butter.
