Description

Delicious and wholesome banana monster cookies that are easy to make and perfect for snacks or desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt; mix until combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or dried fruit. Use almond butter or sun butter as alternatives for peanut butter.
