  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup raspberry puree
  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a heart-shaped baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl. Stir in the granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and mix in powdered sugar.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter, then spoon dollops of raspberry puree on top.
  8. Gently swirl the cream cheese and raspberry into the brownie batter with a knife. Don’t overmix.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Let cool completely, slice into heart shapes, and serve. Sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest swirl. Warm raspberry puree if it’s too thick. Don’t overbake; check at 30 minutes.
