- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 chicken sausages, sliced
- 2 cups steamed broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the orzo pasta and pour in the chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is tender.
- Stir in the steamed broccoli and grated parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
