Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, and bacon until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring mixture to a boil and add uncooked spaghetti.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer until spaghetti is cooked.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving warm.

Notes

For an even heartier dish, add extra veggies like zucchini or spinach. You can use any pasta shape you prefer.
