Description
Indulge in this delightful homemade Raspberry Swirl Ice Cream, bursting with fresh raspberry flavor, perfect for sunny afternoons.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the fresh raspberries until smooth. If you prefer a seedless treat, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve.
- In a large bowl, mix the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Gently swirl the raspberry puree into the cream mixture, avoiding overmixing.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If you don’t have a machine, put it in a container and stir every 30 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 240 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra indulgence, fold in chocolate chips or crushed cookies before freezing. This ice cream can also be served with meringue cookies for contrast in textures.
