Rhodes Bake-N-Serv Sweet Cinnamon Knots

Description

Delightful and easy-to-make sweet cinnamon knots, perfect for brunch or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Rhodes dinner rolls (frozen)
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Saigon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and spray it lightly with cooking spray.
  3. Place the frozen dinner rolls on the baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  4. Mix together the cane sugar, dark brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  5. Melt your butter and coat the bottom of a casserole dish with it.
  6. Sprinkle some of the cinnamon sugar mixture all over the buttered dish.
  7. Roll each thawed piece of dough into 9-inch strips, then lightly dip them into melted butter and coat with the sugar mixture.
  8. Tie each strip into a loose knot and dip the top and sides into the sugar mixture again if desired.
  9. Arrange the knots side by side in the casserole dish and let them rise for about an hour until they double in size.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally drizzled with icing. Pairs well with coffee or tea.
