Ingredients

- 1 pound sausage (Italian or your choice)
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: carrots or bell peppers, sliced
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.
- Add the sausage. Brown it while you break it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and any extra vegetables. Cook until the cabbage wilts.
- Pour in the soy sauce and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for another 5 minutes so the flavors meld and everything heats through.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
Use a large skillet to give the cabbage room to wilt and taste as you go to adjust flavors.
