- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy for about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the crispy bacon from the pan and set it aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
- Add the chopped onions to the skillet and sauté until soft and fragrant, about a few minutes.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring occasionally, and let it soften for about 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in the crispy bacon and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes, mixing everything well. Serve hot.
Notes
You can customize this dish by adding garlic, carrots, or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture. Swap bacon for smoked sausage for a different profile.
