- 1 loaf of crusty bread (sourdough or Italian)
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce (your choice)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: cooked vegetables (like bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Cut the top off the loaf of bread and hollow out the inside, leaving a 1-inch border.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the cooked spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, and any optional veggies to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
- Fill the hollowed bread bowls with the spaghetti mixture. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Place the filled bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
