- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl to create the sauce.
- In a skillet, cook the diced chicken over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir until it thickens and coats the chicken.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For a richer finish, add a touch more honey. Cool chicken and rice completely before storing in an airtight container. Should keep for up to 3 days in the fridge.
