  • Flour, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet. Cut it into squares or rectangles.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each puff pastry piece. Top with the sliced strawberries.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create that beautiful Danish shape.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a lovely golden finish.
  7. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
