- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Valentine’s-themed M&Ms (red, pink, and white)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and festive M&Ms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the centers feel soft.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
Serve warm for the best taste. Store in an airtight container and layer with parchment paper to keep them soft.
