Description

These festive cookies are soft in the center and slightly crisp at the edges, filled with chocolate and colorful M&Ms. Perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Valentine’s-themed M&Ms (red, pink, and white)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and festive M&Ms.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the centers feel soft.
  10. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm for the best taste. Store in an airtight container and layer with parchment paper to keep them soft.
