Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted green olives, chopped
  • 1 cup pitted black olives, chopped
  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chopped olives, cheddar, and mozzarella until everything is well incorporated.
  4. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Spread the olive mixture evenly over both halves.
  5. Place the bread on a baking sheet and pop it in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Let it cool a little before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add chopped jalapeños or red pepper flakes. You can also experiment with different cheeses.
