Description

Delicious warm bites made with sourdough starter, coated in cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sourdough starter, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a big mixing bowl.
  3. Shape the dough into small bite-sized pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  5. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle it over the bites.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm alongside coffee or tea. You can also add chocolate chips or experiment with flavors.
