Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 package Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (separated)
  • 1 cup feta cheese
  • 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach
  • 24 slices of sliced salami rounds (chopped)
  • 2 loaves French bread or 4 baguettes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Thaw the spinach and drain well in a sieve, pressing to get out any excess water. Toss the spinach in a bowl and set it aside for later.
  3. Slice the top off each loaf of bread horizontally and scoop out the insides to create a crusty shell.
  4. Combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, onion soup mix, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add 1 cup of mozzarella and feta cheese to the mixture, mixing it all in.
  6. Fold in the spinach and salami to ensure everything is well combined.
  7. Divide the creamy mixture between the loaves and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake in the oven for 20-24 minutes until the tops are golden and bubbling.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing to serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes or use different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack.
