Description

A delightful veggie pizza loaded with fresh vegetables and gooey cheese, perfect for pizza night.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh pizza dough
  • 15 oz MUIR GLEN Organic Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp basil flakes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup white mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup red pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pastry flour for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spread a little pastry flour over your countertop.
  3. Place the fresh dough on the floured surface.
  4. Shape and stretch the dough into a circle.
  5. Set the shaped dough on your pizza pan.
  6. Mix together the tomato sauce, grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, basil flakes, sugar, and sea salt in a bowl.
  7. Spread the sauce evenly over the dough, leaving an inch around the edge.
  8. Layer on the mushrooms, spinach, red pepper, and green pepper.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Pop the pizza into the oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
  11. Slice and serve hot!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
