Warm, cheesy, and mouthwatering Garlic Breadsticks, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 5 cups all-purpose flour (+ more as needed)
- 1.5 tsp instant yeast
- 1.5 tsp fine sea salt
- 2.25 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup salted dairy-free butter (softened)
- 4–5 garlic cloves (grated or minced)
- 1/2 Tbsp Italian parsley (minced + more for garnish)
- 1 pinch dry oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the flour, yeast, and salt in a stand mixer.
- Gradually add warm water while mixing until a dough forms.
- Switch to the dough hook and knead on low speed for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and cut it in half, then into 12 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into 7-inch ropes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover with a tea towel and let them rise for a couple of hours.
- Make the garlic butter by mixing the softened butter, garlic, Italian parsley, and oregano.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Smear the garlic butter on each breadstick and sprinkle with sea salt before baking.
- Bake the breadsticks for about 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or olive oil for dipping.
Notes
Always use warm water for the yeast. Don’t rush the rising time.
