Deliciously crunchy and sweet crisps made from sourdough discard, perfect for snacking or pairing with spreads.
Ingredients

- ½ cup sourdough discard (unfed)
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the sourdough discard and melted butter together until smooth.
- Spread the mixture thinly on the parchment using the back of a spoon.
- Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl, then sprinkle it evenly over the mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes, rotating halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Let it cool completely, then snap into fun shards.
Notes
Serve with yogurt, alongside tea, or as a topping for ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
